Atop the central dash, an 8-inch freestanding screen vividly presents audio, optional navigation and other features. Turn your GLE into a moving WiFi hotspot that connects to the internet and powers mbrace® features and also allows up to 4 connected devices. Optional sound systems include a harman/kardon® Logic 7® sound system and a Bang & Olufsen BeoSound system. Several engine options power the GLE including a torque filled 2.1L twin-turbo diesel in the GLE 300d offering up to 29mpg hwy, a 302hp 3.5L V6 in the GLE 350, a 329hp 3.0L biturbo V6 in the GLE 400, a 436hp combined 3.0L biturbo V6 + hybrid electric motor, and a 5.5L AMG® biturbo V8 in the GLE 63 (550hp) and GLE 63 S (577hp). 4MATIC® all-wheel drive integrates with the Electronic Stability Program for maximum effectiveness in corners and slippery conditions while the 4-wheel Electronic Traction System monitors for the first sign of wheel slip and responds to ensure torque is sent to the wheels with the best grip.
